On September 24, 2026, the new premises of the Audit Public Oversight Board hosted a meeting of the CEAOB financial sector Task Force, comprising representatives from European regulatory and oversight bodies.
The main objective of the meeting was to share valuable experience from oversight practice.
Representatives of the European bodies discussed:
• Current trends and the effectiveness of oversight activities,
• Upcoming legislative changes,
• Ways to further streamline oversight operations,
• Methods for strengthening mutual cross-border cooperation.
The meeting generated a number of stimulating discussions and confirmed the importance of close cooperation among European oversight bodies.
